Every basketball player knows the feeling. A ball that has been through a full practice session is slippery with sweat, covered in the bacteria of every hand that touched it and genuinely harder to control than a clean one. Most players wipe it on their shorts and keep going. Nobody questioned whether the net itself could be part of the solution.
Basketball has existed for over a century. The net has been the same for all of it.
Former professional player Tamir Goodman looked up at the hoop during a game and noticed something everyone else had stopped seeing. His Aviv Net uses Israeli textile technology to disinfect and dry the ball with every shot. Cleaner hands. Better grip. Measurably improved play. And a new revenue stream for teams that adopt it.
One person. One observation. A century of assumption overturned.
